Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress, best recognized for her roles in films in Ray Undercover Brother and on the TV show The Mentalist. She earned a B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in theater, film as well as television. She started acting on stage and went onto appear in mainstream, independent as well as television shows.
