Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr., a tool and Die manufacturer who had previously worked as a worker for a manufacturing company. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was in second grade when she was 5 years old. She was considered to be academically gifted. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She also competed and was crowned at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone moved together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. After a year spent in Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe by the fashion industry and opted to go to acting. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise in her 20s.
