Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actress and singer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native who was born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen's talents for performing were found at a young age. When she was in 1992, the actress appeared at her first audition. She was successful and got an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom signed her up at an agency prior to when her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. Additionally, she began to take acting lessons privately. Bell was on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. In her school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell went to the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell left the university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell was the first to make her credit debut playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. But, her scene was cut from the film and she only appears in the credits. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell was as a character in The Crucible, a Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
